BLINK TOO
BLINK began in January of '99, subsequently won the first prize at the Breda Jazz Festival in May 1999 and the Dordtse Jazz Prize in March 2000. In November BLINK was offered the Young VIP Tour 2001: a tour of concerts in the most important jazzclubs in Holland.
Now 5 years later it's time for chapter two: BLINK TOO Electric. Musical ideas are used from the BLINK repertoire, new ideas have been written. BLINK TOO is a Collective Electric Gallactic Improvisactive Groovective No breaks Non stop Musical Experience. BLINK TOO Electric is:
Mete Erker horns; Wiboud Burkens anolog synths samples hammond organ fender rhodes; Mark Haanstra bass guitar;
Hans van Oosterhout drums.
In the summer of 2006 BLINK TOO played at the Jeruzalem Jazz Festival in Jeruzalem Israel and the Paradise Jazz Festival in Cyprus. Check for recent information our official website.
