Blonk Solo
A solo performance by Jaap Blonk can either feature the naked voice only or add live electronics. It can include his versions of sound poetry texts by authors from Dada via Fluxus to now, as well as his own pieces. Sometimes he chooses to present a completely improvised set.
In the work with electronics his favourite 'persona' is Dr. Voxoid, a serious but somewhat deranged professor who lectures on a variety of subjects (among others, "The User Manual", "The History of the Cheek Synthesizer", "Post-Human Attractors").
