Eric van der Westen's Quadrant

Quadrant is the workstation of bassist/composer Eric van der Westen.He chooses various musicians for the different CD's and projects he initiates. There's big influence of Electronic, Rock, Dance, World, Folk and Ethnic Music in the modern European Improvised Music of Quadrant. With Quadrant Eric released 6 albums;"Diepkloof and other songs from the book" (1997),"Naala and more songs from the book" (1999),"It is what it is -featuring Norma Winstone" (2000),","Me,Myself and I-Looking at the music of Charles Mingus" (2000),"Rush Hour" (2002)& the double cd "The World Over" a 15 piece suite in 2007. All on his own label EWM Music except for Me,Myself And I-Looking At The Music Of Charles Mingus (Challenge)
