Lotz Of Music - jazz flute

Lotz Of Music is a multi national quartet of modernists performing their imaginative ‘Pygmy Bebop’- a new sound while the music still is easily accessible. A unique vision on new European jazz: haunting, wild and beautiful music within dynamic performances of fun improvisations. Lotz Of Music is a creative vehicle for the improvisations of flutist Mark Alban Lotz.

2007 saw a new project together with VJ Soundshadow "Lotz Of Music Plays: Fish!" (you'll find a link at the links in the right of this page)

Press:
• A fresh, global and oddly beautiful new sound! (Rick Congress, Random Chance Records, NY)
• They're going to make some real noise. (Tad Hendrickson: CMJ New Music Report, NY)
• Flutist Mark Alban Lotz has produced one of the more oddly gorgeous recordings I've listened to this year. (Michael J. Renner, Jazz Series Review - St. Louis) show native description
