Shai Shahar is an American born [big-band!]jazz crooner who turned "pro" in Holland in early 2002.
Since then he has performed with many well-known Dutch and International musicians and vocalists..o.a. Saskia LaRoo, Ingram Washington, Machteld Cambridge, Clous Van Mechelen,
Robert Veen, Cajan Witmer, Leo Bouwmeester, The Main Street Jazz band, The Swinging Deacons, The West Coast Big Band and the Jimmie Lunceford Legacy Orchestra...and has appeared at clubs large and small..as well as Dance Valley 2008
Shai is the voice of Bavaria Beer's Gouden-loekie nominated " Druppel" AND the crooning..Sinatra-esque voice singing "What A Wonderful Life!" in the December 2008 Staatsloterij TV/Radio reclames ..AND he is the singer of "Winter In Holland"..as recorded for Discovery Channel Nederland.
Shai is also the semi-regular Crooner/EMCee for the new and popular Burlesque Reviews currently touring Holland.
In 2007 Shai recorded with and fronted the Jimmie Lunceford Legacy Orchestra..a legendary big-band under the direction of world-famous [Dutch] sax man and Aces Of Syncopation leader, Robert Veen.
