Sandip Bhattacharya and Mousse Pathe M'baye, two percussion virtuoso from different parts of the earth create an unique, exciting and innovative world of their own. They are the base of "Synergy-World Rhythm". Right from their first meeting, 11 years ago, they have a great musical understanding when playing together in exciting duets. They also work with a Turkish percussion player and a Iranian Zarb player, presenting a rhythmic world where borders disappear.

Sandip Bhattacharya
from India is a well-known name in the world of 'Indian Classical' music and the 'World-Music' scene.
He is a virtuoso on Tabla and Pakhawaj but plays many other percussion instruments as well.
He performs with top musicians like Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Laxmi Shankar, etc. in 'Indian Classical' settings while joining up with Ernst Reijsiger, Eric Vaarzon-Morel, Jan Kuiper and Eric Vloeimans in 'Jazz and World-Music'.

Mousse Pathe M'baye
from Senegal is a master of Djembe, Tama, Soruba and Sabar percussion. Mousse has performed with many traditional African musicians & groups such as Mapen da Seck, El Hadji N'Diaye and Thione Seck. In Jazz settings he joined up with American and Dutch Jazz musicians like David Murray, Hans Dulfer, Jan kuiper and Saskia Laroo.
