Jazz in Duketown

This year again, a fantastic jazz festival will be staged all over ‘s-Hertogenbosch for everyone to enjoy! With a line-up of up-and-coming and famous jazz musicians there, it can be seen and heard on 10, 11 and 12th of May 2008. This festival has been attracting attention for 35 years now, with jazz lovers, and with a wider audience as well.

Jazz in Duketown caters for every music lover as it doesn’t commit itself to a certain kind of jazz. This year, new genres in jazz will be explored, by providing a stage for jazz bands and jazz musicians who interpret the genre by combining it with new music styles. Of course, we don’t forget other styles in jazz and hope to bring a festival that will be to everyone’s taste.

The stages where the artists will be playing are all over the town; in the picturesque Uilenburg, one of the older parts of Den Bosch, and on larger squares like the Markt and the Parade.
